Our mini retreats are 2-3 hour workshops which give your staff a moment of calm and tranquillity whilst also developing skills for stress-relief and wellbeing.
Each mini retreat comprises of:
- A movement element: Yoga/foraging/mindful walk/forest bathing
- A herbal element: making herbal foods, drinks or medicine/botanical skin care/grow your own tea/make your personal tea blend.
We can also provide 1:2:1 or small group Wellbeing Coaching.
Nature Connection Day
Our nature connection days in Loch Lomond & Trossachs give employees a chance to get outside, away from the workplace to bond and de-stress. Nature has been shown to have a positive effect on mental health and wellbeing. We can offer a day of activities with a combination of:
- foraging/mindfulness walks
- Bushcraft and outdoor cooking
- yoga classes
- herbal medicine workshops: making herbal foods, drinks or skincare/ grow your own tea/ herbal/make your personal tea blend.
Wild Medicine Gathering
We can host wild medicine gatherings for our corporate clients to wildcraft for ingredients for our workshops and solidarity medicine making. This a great day out, a chance to be in nature, to connect with other staff and to learn about plants we can forage for food and medicine.
Solidarity Medicine Making
Work together and learn how to make herbal medicines whilst making medicine for each participant and to donate for communities in need.
Everyone of our corporate clients are invited to join us at the regular solidarity medicine making sessions to make medicines.
Grow a pot, plant a row
For the gardeners or keen growers we encourage them to grow particular herbs for us either in a pot or a space in their garden. These herbs are then used in our workshops and solidarity medicine making.
'Garden to Medicine'
Perhaps you have a space in your office garden to grow specific medicinal herbs which your company would be involved in growing, harvesting, drying, and making into medicine. Enabling your group to be involved in the entire process from start to finish. These medicines would then be sent either to Herbalists Without Borders Calais to use in the refugee first aid clinic, to Ukraine Herbal Solidarity to use with refugees in Poland and people in Ukraine, or used for groups in Scotland (I am in talks with Amma who support refugee mum-to-be, and open to other groups who are interested in receiving herbal medicines), each participant would also take a medicine away for themselves too.
